Research has shown that in the period 2012-2016, the suspects set up ten websites, through which they would promote and market to customers in Romania and Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany and England, a wide range of drugs. counterfeit drugs, such as anabolic steroids, hormones and others, that pose a potential risk to public health. “From the criminal activity, the persons concerned would have obtained incomes of over 1,000,000 euros, the damage caused to the state budget being of approximately 300,000 euros”, it is shown in the communiqué.
