A large search operation is underway overnight until Monday for a seven-year-old boy who got away from his family while hunting in Lindesnes municipality on Sunday afternoon.
– The plan is to hold on until we find him. We will continue through the night, says operations manager Eyvind Formo at the Agder police district to NTB at 1.30 a.m. on Monday.
It was then 12 hours since the boy came away from his family in a wooded area near Heddan, north-west of Vigeland in Lindesnes.

Helicopters, drones, dogs and 130 crews are participating in the search for the seven-year-old.

Over the course of Sunday evening, more and more resources were deployed in the search operation, including a SAR Queen rescue helicopter from Sola, a police helicopter and eleven crew members from Norwegian Rescue Dogs in addition to police dogs and volunteers from the Red Cross.
