Search for girl (15) who would have been ‘swept away by swirling river’ | Abroad

This is reported by the commander in the region, Stéphane Thiry. The girl is said to be on holiday in a nearby holiday park, Het Nieuwsblad reports. She was playing with others when she was said to have fallen into the Ourthe and was swept away by the strong current. “The Famenne-Ardenne police zone is currently investigating the missing person,” says Thiry.

Divers, firefighters and drones from the region will be deployed in the search. The help of police zone Famenne-Ardenne has also been called in. So far without result.
