John Lennon’s youngest son will present a two-part radio special about his father next month. The Beatle had celebrated its 80th birthday in life on October 9.

Sean Ono Lennon interviews Paul McCartney among others for the program. According to the BBC, Sir Paul plays a part of one of the first songs he ever wrote with Lennon, Just Fun. The song was never released but a part of it can be heard in the Beatles movie Let It Be. McCartney admits speaking with Sean that the first songwriting attempts he made with Lennon were “not very successful”.
In the program, Sean’s half-brother Julian Lennon and his godfather Elton John also speak about John, who was murdered in 1980. The special can be heard on the BBC on 3 and 4 October.
