“On August 13, 2021, did you ever not take Sister Ayu Thalia to your house?” asked Pitra.
“Don’t remember,” said Sean.
It didn’t stop there, Pitra also asked if Sean had been to the hotel with Ayu Thalia on August 17, 2021. Sean admitted that he had been to a hotel but was busy with his other friends.
“Well, on August 17, 2021, were you not at the Ascott Hotel with the defendant?” asked Pitra.
“I’m in a crowd,” Sean replied.
“Ever or not?” asked Pitra again.
“Never,” said Sean.
Then about the call of love, Sean called the call a common thing. It doesn’t mean dating or having a special relationship.
“That’s what he started first, I just followed him back. The girl said dear, yes, I replied dear. It just doesn’t mean that, honey, I want to be with you, I don’t want to marry you,” Sean told reporters after the trial.
“Have I ever declared this is my girlfriend? I’ve never done that. Yes, if I want to meet a pretty girl, I say honey. If she doesn’t mind. Is it my fault? Yes, it means nothing,” he said.
Previously, Ayu Thalia denied Nicholas Sean Purnama’s testimony about their relationship, which was said to be just friends. Ayu Thalia mentioned sleeping together.
At first, Ayu Thalia admitted that she objected to Sean’s testimony. According to Ayu, if she was just an ordinary friend, it would be impossible for Sean to call ‘darling’ and ask when she was menstruating.
“I object, because as far as I know, according to what the victim said, he was just a friend, an ordinary friend didn’t sleep together, an ordinary friend didn’t chat, he didn’t call, he didn’t ask me when he was menstruating,” said Ayu in a hearing at the North Jakarta District Court. , Tuesday (14/6).
Ayu Thalia admitted that she had checked in a hotel with Sean. He also mentioned that he was brought to sleep at Sean’s house.
“And the victim’s witness also checked in at the hotel with me several times, and as far as I know, if it’s just a friend, the victim’s witness once took me to sleep at his house,” said Ayu.
It is known, Ayu Thalia was charged with a defamation case reported by Ahok’s son, Nicholas Sean. Ayu Thalia is considered to have violated Article 311 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 310 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
