Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is celebrating his 55th birthday today in prison. The artist is in pre-trial detention in the ‘Metropolitan Detention Center’ in New York on suspicion of, among other things, sexual misconduct. There is no VIP birthday meal this year, but eat whatever is available. And that is more than just water and bread.
“Eating in prison is the hardest thing”
Diddy will start the day with an American breakfast, consisting of biscuits and gravy, potatoes, bread and oatmeal, reports the ‘New York Post’. The prison lunch includes cheese pizza, Italian pasta salad and green beans. During dinner, Diddy has a choice of rice with chicken or tofu with carrot and black beans. Last month, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo announced that the rapper is finding ‘jail food’ to be the ‘hardest’ part of his prison term.
Diddy was arrested last September and has been in custody ever since. The trial date against the rapper is set for May 5, 2025. In addition to the dozens of allegations of sexual misconduct, Diddy is also accused of extortion, sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
