The beloved and legendary British actor Sean Connery, who played the iconic agent James Bond in seven films in total, died this Saturday at the age of 90, according to his relatives.
The Scottish actor was the first protagonist of the role of Agent 007 on the big screen from 1962 to 1983, remaining one of the most remembered performances of the saga.
During his decades-long acting career, he won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor (for Los Untocables), two Bafta Awards, and three Golden Globes.

Connery is also known for his roles in such films as The Hunt for Red October, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Rock, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Name of the Rose, Highlander, Murder on the Eastern Express, etc.
The actor received the honor of being named a “Knight Bachelor” by Queen Elizabeth II in July 2000.
