Be careful if you were planning to take the A47 this week. Due to construction, part of the highway will be closed this Wednesday August 21st and Thursday August 22nd in the evening.
The traffic restrictions are related to the section of the road between the Saint-Martin-la-Plaine interchange (No. 10) and the Givors-Ouest route (No. 11), between 9pm and 5:30am the following day.
This Wednesday afternoon, the closure will be effective in the direction of Saint-Etienne / Lyon. On Thursday night, the closure will be related to the opposite direction of traffic (Lyon to Saint-Etienne).
The A42 closed between 23 and 25 August
As a reminder, disruption is expected this week due to several projects in progress on various roads in the Lyon metropolitan area.
The A42 will be closed to west-east traffic this Friday, August 23 at 9pm, until Sunday, August 25 at 5pm. Other traffic restrictions also apply to the slip roads between the A46 southbound and the D301.
