Seagate thought it wouldn’t miss Star Wars Day

Given that May 4 was Global Star Wars Day, so it’s no wonder Seagate has tied up its custom hard drive.

A Seagate a Star Wars Three Collectable Hard Drives (HDDs) Inspired by Boba Fett, Grogu (Baby Yoda as a Girl) and The Mandalorian presented. Joining the Star Wars family of Beskar Ingot Drives, the Special Edition FireCuda external hard drives are available in three different looks to represent each legendary character.

One gets the cool look of bounty hunter Boba Fett, the other builds on Grogu’s cheerful gaze, while the third builds on the Mandalorian theme. The drives are equipped with customizable RGB LED lighting, and each design has a default, unique character light. Boba Fett has a striking red, Grogu has a glowing blue, and Mandalorian has a “bold blue”.

With 2TB of capacity, FireCuda External Hard Drives (HDDs) also work with PCs, Macs, PlayStations and Xboxs, allowing technology lovers to store media, files and games regardless of operating system. Designed for universal compatibility and fast transfer speeds with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector, Seagate comes with a five-year limited warranty and a three-year Rescue Data Recovery Services, which can be reassuring for users with frequent drive deaths.

Each drive can be purchased for $ 109.99, which equates to a narrow $ 40,000 at the time of writing. So you pay about narrowly twice as much for a custom look as the cheapest – also 2TB – external hard drive, but presumably a fan is worth that much for a custom look.
