Jakarta, Selular.ID – Seagate announces the rollout of the SkyHawk Artificial Intelligence (AI) 18TB which will be available in phases. This hard drive will be available throughout the Seagate sales network in Indonesia at a price of IDR 8,759,000.
The SkyHawk AI is the world’s first hard drive to be purpose-built as a Surveillance solution that supports AI (artificial intelligence), enabling faster and smarter decisions. This new drive supports the workloads required for deep learning and machine learning delivery for Edge applications with ImagePerfectAI.
The capacity to store more data over time is required for deep learning systems to become smarter and more accurate at performing their predictive analysis. In addition, behavioral analysis requires significantly more data than traditional video recording. SkyHawk AI supports the implementation of 32 video streams analyzed using AI or AI streams in addition to 64 regular video streams or video streams, in addition to supporting multi-bay Network Video Recorder (NVR) and NVR with AI analysis capabilities. SkyHawk AI also offers the ability to handle workloads or Workload Rates of 550 TB / year, or 3x the workload of standard hard drives used for surveillance or surveillance. Thus, SkyHawk AI is able to manage data overflow from complex environmental security video systems without compromising performance. This Hard Drive adapts between traditional video workloads and video + AI workloads intelligently.

Thus, customers can get faster and smarter analysis of records by reducing the latency and time needed to process data. For customers who provide this Hard Drive, they will get the Seagate Rescue Service which is valid for 3 years as additional peace in the event of data loss or accident along with the standard 3 year warranty.
