Seagate’s high-end brand, LaCie, has announced the launch of a new generation of LaCie Mobile Drives in Taiwan, the latest member of its popular line of external hard drives. Trusted by design-conscious users and creative professionals since its inception, LaCie continues to deliver distinctive storage solutions where form and function complement each other for a world-class, comprehensive experience.
In keeping with the spirit of the LaCie brand, the LaCie Mobile Drive is designed and built to last. The enclosure features Neil Poulton’s innovative design, enhanced by the use of durable aluminum for the frame. The new generation of LaCie Mobile Drive implements the spirit of sustainability, using post-consumer recycled aluminum and plastic materials (Post-Consumer Recycled) and even the outer packaging is made of recycled cardboard.

Available in capacities up to 5TB, the new LaCie Mobile Drive is easy to take anywhere and is compatible with USB-C PCs, Macs, and iPads. With the one-click automatic backup function, the file storage operation is super smooth, and the USB-C can provide file transfer speeds of up to 130MB per second, giving you a hassle-free user experience. The LaCie Mobile Drive comes with LaCie Toolkit software for on-demand or scheduled backups and a one-month full Adobe Creative Cloud app plan. The included three-year limited warranty and three-year rescue data recovery services (data rescue service) allow consumers to enjoy long-term protection without worrying about data loss and save data rescue costs .
The LaCie Mobile Drive will be available through designated distribution channels in Taiwan, with a suggested price of NT$3,788 (2TB), NT$5,488 (4TB), and NT$6,188 (5TB).
