Seabourn unveils its 2024-2025 Asia cruise season

Seabourn has revealed its Asia itineraries for the late 2024 and 2025 cruise seasons.

From December 2024 to March 2025, and again in November 2025, ships Seabourn Encore et Seabourn Quest will travel through Southeast Asia and Japan, with stops in diverse regions ranging from the vibrant culture of Vietnam and Thailand to the impressive skyline of Singapore.

Seabourn Encore: Southeast Asia – Winter 2024 to Spring 2025

The Seabourn Encore will offer seven voyages between Singapore and Hong Kong from December 2024 to March 2025. The itineraries, lasting 13 to 14 days, will include landmark stops, such as the “Caviar in the Surf” experience in Koh Kood, Thailand, and nights in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

On March 2, 2025, the Seabourn Encore will depart on a 14-day voyage from Singapore to Kobe, Japan. This journey will include a first stop in Tokushima, as well as Kochi and Kobe in Japan. The ship will conclude its season with a 25-day transpacific crossing from Kobe to Long Beach, California, marking its first visit to the United States.

Seabourn Quest: Southeast Asia and Japan – Spring 2025

Starting in March 2025, the Seabourn Quest will offer 14-34 day itineraries across Asia, offering the opportunity to explore the islands of Japan during cherry blossom season. A 20-day trip, “Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay,” will begin in April 2025, combining Japanese festivities and exploration of the Alaskan landscape.

Seabourn Quest: Japan – Fall 2025

In fall 2025, Seabourn Quest will return to Japan for four cruises between September and November, with itineraries ranging from 12 to 41 days. New stops include Akita, known for its hot springs and samurai districts, as well as Wakayama and Niigata.

New shore excursions

Two new optional excursions will be offered on certain cruises in Japan. The first, “Very Best of Kobe,” includes a visit to Himeji Castle, a Kobe beef lunch and an introduction to sake culture. The second, “Hiroshige Museum & Tea Ceremony,” combines a visit to the Hiroshige Art Museum in Shimizu and a traditional tea ceremony, with a view of Mount Fuji.

Renowned speakers on board

Select cruises will feature renowned speakers as part of the program Seabourn Conversations. Among them, Jim Lauriewriter and consultant specializing in Asian destinations, will be present on several cruises between December 2024 and February 2025. The award-winning author Ann Cleeves will embark on the 14-day voyage during the holiday season, from December 22, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
