KOMPAS.com – Subang Police Chief AKBP Sumarni said he was disappointed with the management of the Kukulu Wine Park tourism object in Subang, West Java.

Sumarni said that initially the management said the event which was held on Sunday (30/1/2022) was a gathering activity, by inviting singers Tri Asylum, Nabila, and Zidan.

However, it turned out to be a music concert attended by a sea of ​​people.

“I am very disappointed with the activities carried out by the management of the wine park. They say it is a gathering activity, but the implementation of the activity is a music concert,” said AKBP Sumarni at the Subang Police Headquarters, Monday (31/1/2022).

“Therefore, the Subang Wine Garden (managers) must be responsible for this incident,” said the Police Chief.

Kukulu Park is closed

After the performance of the music concert held at the Kukulu Subang Wine Park which was deemed to have violated the prokes, the Subang Regency Government (Pemkab) imposed a sanction in the form of closing the tourist spot for three days, from February 1 to 3, 2022 (Tuesday to Thursday).

The spokesman for the Covid-19 Task Force for the Subang District Health Office, Maxi, said the Task Force had held a meeting and did not want something similar to happen in other places.

“So, the Task Force has imposed sanctions in the form of temporarily closing tourist attractions in Taman Kukulu for the next few days,” said Maxi, quoted from Compass TV.

“We hope that all tourist attractions and other entertainment venues will restrain themselves first. Because now it is not good for the transition to the development of Covid-19 in Subang,” he added.

Previously, it was reported that a video went viral on social media showing a music concert packed with visitors who did not implement health protocols (prokes).

The event, which was held at the Kukulu Subang Wine Garden, invited singers from Yogyakarta, commonly known as Tri Suaka, Nabila, and Zidan.
