The travel restrictions put in place at the beginning of April must be lifted on Monday, May 3. The inhabitants of Yonne will regain their freedom of movement. We will have to wait to see cultural places, bars and restaurants gradually reopen from May 19, according to announcements made by Emmanuel Macron this week.

In Seine-et-Marne
Provins. Ramparts, fortified gates, César tower … Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the medieval city of Provins is worth a detour.

The sea of sand. Surrounded by trees and rocks, the “sables du cul du chien” are located in the Trois Pignons massif in the town of Noisy-sur-Ecole, near Fontainebleau. This strange stretch of sand is ideal for hiking.
In the Dawn
Troyes. Between its half-timbered houses, its narrow streets and its many churches, Troyes has something to appeal to history and heritage buffs.
Lakes of the Orient Forest. The Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park and its three lakes, east of Troyes, combine sport and nature. With its 2,500 ha, the Orient Lake is the most imposing of the three.

In Côte-d’Or
Dijon. The Burgundy capital has a discovery trail. Just follow the owls engraved on the ground on golden plaques in the city center to let yourself be guided.
Semur-en-Auxois. Located on a rocky outcrop, the medieval city of Semur-en-Auxois reveals its assets as soon as you enter the village. Pont Joly, ramparts, tower of the keep … The center is to be explored on foot.

In Saône-et-Loire
Autun. The temple of Janus, the gates of Arroux and Saint-André, the theater … Founded by the Romans, Autun retains many traces of its past. Two discovery circuits are offered to history buffs in the capital of the Morvan: the Augustodunum circuit and that of the upper town.
In the Nièvre
The Settons lake. In the heart of the Morvan park, the Lac des Settons is designed to be able to enjoy its banks with the family. The perfect place for a bike ride.
The Gouloux jump. North of Lac des Settons, still in the Morvan, are the Cure rapids and the Gouloux jump: a 10-meter high waterfall. A 1 km commented path allows you to discover the place.

In the Cher
Sancerre. Known for its vines and its cheese, crottin de Chavignol, Sancerre is also a major heritage site. Besides its cellars and its landscapes, the history of the medieval city is within the reach of the curious.
The Hundred Years War, the Wars of Religion, the royalist uprising known as “La petite Vendée Sancerroise” during the Revolution marked the history of this medieval city.
Le Bec d’Allier. Classified by the WWF association, the Bec d’Allier, located on the border between the Cher and the Nièvre, is the meeting point between the waters of the Loire and those of the Allier. A 4 km path decorated with educational panels allows you to discover the place, as well as its flora and fauna.
In the Loiret
Châtillon-Coligny. A 2 km circuit allows you to discover the town: its castle, its church, the residence of Colette’s half-brother … A second circuit, of 4 km, allows you to stroll along the Briare canal.
