Under the motto “#YesWeCare – the #Lichtermeer”, a rally took place on Sunday in Vienna, which among other things was supposed to remember the – now more than 13,000 – Covid deaths in Austria. According to police reports, more than 30,000 participants gathered on the street for around ten minutes at 7:00 p.m. DER STANDARD spoke to initiator Daniel Landau, ex-mayor Michael Häupl and actress Katharina Stemberger about their motives for participating.
