“SEA Games 2023: Indonesian National Team’s Locker Room with Plastic Chair Goes Viral”

SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia again reap the spotlight, this time about the condition of the locker room Indonesian U-22 National Team when fighting against Timor Leste.

Ahead of the match against Timor Leste, PSSI via their Twitter account shared photos of the condition of the locker room with the public. Interestingly, the atmosphere in the U-22 Indonesian National Team locker room was quite eye-catching.

The reason is that in the locker room there are plastic chairs like an invitation chair, as well as long wooden benches. On the plastic benches were match equipment ranging from socks, shirts and pants, towels, to drinking water.

Each bench also bears the names of U-22 Indonesian National Team players from Pratama Arhan to Rio Fahmi. Inevitably, netizens immediately commented on the existence of the plastic bench.

In Indonesia, plastic benches like this are synonymous with celebrations or what is commonly called invitations. In addition, the plastic bench is also closely related to meetings within the Rukun Tetangga (RT).

This plastic chair itself has adorned the locker room since the first day of the football match that the Indonesian national team underwent at the 2023 SEA Games. The U-22 Indonesian national team has had good results so far.
