Indonesian National team clash with Thailand in the men’s soccer final SEA Games 2023. Here is the match schedule.
Indonesia managed to advance to the 2023 SEA Games final. This result was achieved after a fierce 3-2 victory over Vietnam in the semifinals, Saturday (13/5/2023).
Indra Sjafri’s troops scored three goals through Komang Teguh, Muhammad Ferrari, and Muhammad Taufany. Vietnam replied through Nguyen Van Tung’s goal and Bagas Kaffa’s own goal.
In the final round, Indonesian National team challenged ASEAN Football Kings, Thailand. The White Elephant Country escaped after conquering Myanmar 3-0.
This is Indonesia’s seventh final in men’s football at the SEA Games. The Garuda squad won twice, most recently in 1991 in the Philippines.
Indonesia and Thailand previously clashed twice in the SEA Games final. The Red and White won the 1991 edition via penalties, the War Elephants replied 22 years later with a score of 1-0.
