Southeast Asian football party, SEA Games [Southeast Asian Games]will involve ten teams and is scheduled to roll out on May 6, 2022, with under-23 players making up the majority of each contingent.
However, all contestants are allowed to bring three players over the age of U-23 in their respective squads.

The ten participating teams will be divided equally into two groups. Group A consists of hosts Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Timor Leste. While Group B is inhabited by Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore and Laos.
