A great victory! Our Rémois won brilliantly against US Le Pays de Valois this afternoon and achieved their first clean sheet of the season:
The Red and Whites quickly created chances: Pape Sissoko tried his luck, but his shot missed the target (20th), then Ike Orazi won his duel and unleashed a powerful shot which skimmed the top corner (30th). The first goal finally came on a beautiful cross from Adama Baradji for Hafiz Ibrahim, who headed in to open the scoring (36th, 1-0). Just before the break, Franck Chalençon’s men widened the gap: on a cross from Ike Orazi, Hafiz Ibrahim cut perfectly at the near post and scored his double (45+3rd, 2-0).
Back from the locker room, the Rémois continue to push. After a good recovery in midfield, Mohamed Bamba escapes alone and serves Pape Sissoko against the goalkeeper. The Reims attacker only has to adjust with a flat foot to triple the lead (50th). For his first appearance in National 3, the young Tidiane Diarrassouba caused a penalty following a foul in the area. Abdoulaye Gory takes charge of transforming it and scores the fourth goal of a successful match and a well-deserved victory (83rd, 4-0).
