AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome; AIDS) is an infectious disease that occurs when a person becomes infected with a virus called HIV. World AIDS Day is a day established to provide accurate information about AIDS and prevention measures and is designated on 1 December every year. It was enacted when 148 countries participating in the meeting of world health ministers in London, England, in 1988, adopted the “London Declaration” which stresses the exchange of information, the promotion of education and respect for human rights for the prevention of AIDS. of ways.

2022 AIDS WALK WITH SD BIOSENSOR is a walking donation event organized to raise people’s interest in AIDS and to eliminate prejudice against AIDS. In addition to walking along Hwaseong Haenggung Stonewall Road, various events and attractions are prepared such as a stamp tour, treasure hunt, photo zone, etc. I look forward to learning about AIDS while having fun.

SD Biosensor, the organizer of this event, plans to convert the participants’ steps into 10 won per step, in addition to the proceeds from ticket sales, and donate them to the Fruit of Love. The number of steps is measured with the “Big Walk” app and is a way to donate your steps through the app.

The event campaign within the Grand March is activated at 12:00 on 1 December, the day of the event, and the number of daily steps is limited to 7,000 only on the day of the event to avoid so-called ‘abuse’. which increases the number of steps inappropriately.

The ‘Red Ribbon Campaign’ will be held on the day of the event, a symbol of the eradication of discrimination on AIDS infection officially adopted by UNAIDS, and red ribbons will be visible throughout the venue.

The attendance fee for this event is 10,000 won, and tickets can be purchased on ‘Ticket Link’, a sales platform specializing in performances, exhibitions and sports tickets, from 12:00 on the 17th.
