With Sunday 22 May happening at the same time, the Rossoneri celebrations should wait before the Inter fans leave the stadium
Scudetto fight tightened between Milan e Inter with the concrete possibility that the verdict will arrive on the last day of the championship, expected in two weeks. In case AC Milan win Serie A Sunday 22 Maythere would be the risk of a dangerous “crossroads” between the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri fans a San Siro: playing both at 15, it would help wait for all the Inter fans to leave (and those of Sampdoria, given that Inzaghi’s team will face Giampaolo’s) from the plant before letting the AC Milan fans in. A problem of public order, despite the great fairness that the two fans always show during the derbies, not to be underestimated.

Even if on the pitch the mathematical verdict is still to be conquered, as is normal for the city of Milan to start thinking about the Scudetto party. If Milan win on Matchday 37, there is no risk: the Rossoneri will play Sunday 15 May at 6 pm against Atalanta but, even if they win, they will still have to wait for the result of Inter, who will play at 20.45 (here the scudetto combinations). Apart from Saturday evening, the actual party would therefore take place on Sunday 16.
If it came to the last shift, some more discomfort would arise. Lega Serie A had initially foreseen the dispute of Sassuolo-Milan and Inter-Sampdoria on Saturday 21 May at 3 pm imagining the party at San Siro of the champion team 24 hours later. But the Ministry of the Interior asked to move the matches to Sunday 22 because there will be a maxi-concert in Piazza Duomo and we want to avoid the concomitance with the celebrations of the supporters. But, as mentioned before, on Sunday 22nd the matches are expected to coincide at 3 pm: if Inter wins the Scudetto, the party would follow the final triple whistle, if the title went to Milan it would be needed before the stadium was emptied of its “cousins”.
Either way, there is a previous which gives optimism even if an alternative solution is not found. In the 2008 Inter won the Scudetto in Parma and later returned to Milan to celebrate with the fans at San Siro, where Milan had played against Udinese a few hours earlier (with the kick-off at 14).
