Pioli’s team is champion if they beat Gasperini’s Nerazzurri and Inter do not win against the Sardinians. At that point Milan would be unattainable at 83 points (with the cousins at 79 if they draw or stopped at 78 in case of defeat). Third case: Milan draw with Atalanta and Inter lose. The classification would be: Milan 81 and Inter 78, with only three points available on the last day. But with both teams at 81 points, Milan would still be champions because they have the advantage in direct matches (1-1 and 2-1 for the Rossoneri). In all other cases, everything would be postponed to the last day, when Milan will play in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo and Inter at San Siro against Sampdoria.
