South Korean Samsung is currently basically the only manufacturer that still sticks to the regular production of phones with flexible displays. And he’s probably not even working on it at all. There are another number of companies that experiment with this technology, but have never started production to such an extent. But with a little freer hands they have desire to experiment and other design options, including a scrolling mobile phone. On this wave now, it seems Samsung is officially on the rise, from which it is somehow expected.
A new page has appeared directly on the official website of the Samsung Display division, which shows the potential of the developed ones flexible Flex OLED displays. Among other examples, the structures can also be seen Slidable Flex a Rollable Flex, which indicate both stretching the screen around the edges of the flattened device and scrolling into the roll. In the first case, the visualization is to feel the phone or tablet, in the second case, the intention could be estimated even on a monitor or television.
Because it’s not just some empty concepts, it’s more about presentation website of achievable and possibly already existing displays, perhaps we can look forward to their early implementation into mass – produced devices of the brand Samsung. Or others. Maybe it’s time.
