Scriptwriter Hani Sarhan celebrated this Tuesday evening by tying the knot with artist Basma Dawoud at Muhammad Ali Mosque in Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi Citadel, in the presence of a number of family and friends close to the newlyweds, in addition to a number of art and media stars.
The marriage ceremony witnessed the presence of many artists, including the artist Fathi Abdel Wahab and the screenwriter Baher Dowidar, and the marriage ceremony included a romantic photo session for Sarhan and Basma.
Scriptwriter Hani Sarhan celebrated his engagement to actress Basma Dawoud last May, and the engagement party was held at the bride’s house in the presence of a number of members of both families.
Basma Dawoud is an Egyptian artist who began her artistic career with the series “Kings of Gedaana” in 2021 starring the artist Mostafa Shaaban. She drew attention to her talent, in addition to her recent participation in the series “Old Rent” starring the artist Sherif Mounir, for which she received positive reactions in addition to her series “Hakayat Group of Payments.” During which she collaborated with a number of Egyptian drama stars.
As for screenwriter Hani Sarhan, his debut was with the series “The Godfather,” which served as his artistic birth certificate to the Egyptian and Arab public. After that, he participated in writing a number of dramatic works for the most prominent stars of Egyptian drama, most notably the series “War” starring the artist Ahmed El Sakka, in addition to the series “Souk El Canto.” Starring the artist Amir Karara, which was shown in the last Ramadan drama season.
