Baron Prášil, Prince and Večernice or Chetnik humoresques. During his lifetime, Rudolf Jelínek (†89) played countless important film, serial and theater roles. Everyone remembers the excellent actor, who will be buried today, August 20, at the Motol Crematorium in Prague, as a highly educated, extremely sensitive, noble and true gentleman. The last weeks of his life were not easy, his family fell out. However, his departure managed to bring her together…

The representative of Major Hradec from the series Thirty Cases of Major Zeman died on Saturday, August 10. In the last years of his life, he enjoyed reading historical magazines and books or solving crossword puzzles. “But if my wife Martina hadn’t forced me, I probably would have slept the whole day. I am a great lover of sleep,” he admitted in one of the last interviews. In the end, even his departure took place in his sleep, after long health problems. His wife visited him just a few hours before his death. “I was with Rudlíček and I saw how his strength was leaving. But he gave me another kiss. But I had no idea it was the last one,” admitted Martina Růžičková (60), who was the second wife of the famous actor. The first was Jarmila Hlavatá, with whom Jelínek had two children, daughter Bára and son Marko. Unfortunately, in the last months of the actor’s life, the family fell out. His daughter Bára took the seriously ill Rudolf to her home, she did not want to return him home to his wife saying that she was not taking good care of him. So Růžičková went to see him, first to her place and then to the hospital in Česká Lípa, where Jelínek had been staying for the last few weeks due to pneumonia. And it was there that the actor breathed his last.
