32-year-old Scout Willis, the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, shared a photo on social networks with her terminally ill father.
In the photo, Bruce tenderly hugs his daughter, who rests her head on his chest. The girl smiles happily, looking at her father.
“Big year for Scout, welcome to joy,” the celebrity heiress wrote.
Willis’s disease is rapidly progressing. Frontotemporal dementia has had a noticeable impact on cognitive abilities – the actor can no longer read and hardly speaks.
In the spring of 2022, the actor officially announced that he could no longer act in films.
“I learned that dementia is hard,” his wife Emma Hemming said on the show Today in September. “It’s hard for the person who’s been diagnosed. It’s also hard on the family. And this is no exception for Bruce, me or our girls. When doctors say that this is a family disease, it really is,” she concluded. Emma is helped in caring for Bruce by his older daughters and ex-wife Demi Moore.
Earlier it was reported that the actor stopped recognizing her. “Demi kept in touch with both the children and Bruce’s wife. But she didn’t even suspect that his condition had deteriorated so much,” the insider said.
Willis also has two daughters with Hemming: 11-year-old Mabel and 9-year-old Evelyn.
