Scottish criminal found guilty in murder case crime blogger Martin Kok

In Scotland, a 33-year-old man found guilty in the murder case of the Dutch crime blogger Martin Kok. Kok, who himself had a long career in crime and then started a website with crime news, was shot dead in the parking lot of a sex club in Laren in 2016.

The convicted man, Christopher Hughes, is a member of a Scottish crime organization with links to Colombian drug cartels and the Italian mafia, among others. Hughes was also found guilty of involvement in criminal activity between 2013 and 2020.
