Scottish boy (2) made life-saving phone call and receives award | Abroad

Two-year-old Hanlon Stevenson from Scotland called the police in 2019 because his mother did not wake up. Emergency services quickly arrived and saved her life. The boy therefore receives an award.

The phone call was life-saving. Hanlon called the emergency number as a toddler. He said his mother was sleeping and he couldn’t wake her up.

Emergency services immediately drove to the boy’s home. There they found the boy’s mother. She was unconscious, but still breathing.

The police call it “extremely commendable” that the boy had the courage and ability to call the emergency number at the age of two. He was honored along with other brave individuals.
