Author of only five matches in Poland, the former leader of Strasbourg and Champagne Basket Scottie Reynolds will discover the German championship in Weissenfels.
After a short experience in Poland (five matches at BM STAL Ostrów Wielkopolski, for 7 points at 54.5% shooting success, 2.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 22 minutes), Scottie Reynolds (1.90 m, 35 years old) returns to service in the German championship. The American playmaker has just signed for the Weissenfels club, currently 14th in BBL with 10 defeats in 16 matches, to replace Mario Ihring these next two months.
In the past, the former Villanova (NCAA) star led Strasbourg’s game in 2019-2020 (9.8 points on 48.9% shooting success, 3.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists on 29 matches in all competitions), before returning to France at Champagne Basket last season (11.3 points at 50%, 1.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 28 minutes out of 14 matches), a club he never was able to save from relegation.
We reacted to the long-term absence of Mario Ihring (2 months due to pubic arthritis) and signed the experienced US playmaker Scottie Reynolds (35 years, 1.88 metres). Debut on Sunday (15 pm) against @ratiopharmulm
