Scotland defeated the Ukrainians in the League of Nations match – 22.09.2022

The second round of League B in Glasgow ended 3-0 in favor of the hosts, goals were scored by John McGinn (70th minute) and Lyndon Dykes (80, 87).

The Scots lead the Group 1 standings with 9 points from four games, while the Ukrainians are second with 7 points. Then follow the teams of Ireland (4 points) and Armenia (3).

In the next round the Scottish team will play on 24 September with the team of Ireland, the Ukrainians on the same day will meet the Armenian team on the road.

The Russian national team does not take part in the new League of Nations draw. Previously, the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) issued a joint statement that Russian teams and clubs would be suspended from participating in all international competitions for an indefinite period. In mid-July, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed the appeals against this decision.
