“Wind of Change” continues to blow: The Scorpions announce a concert in Frankfurt. The legendary rock band will go on tour in Germany in autumn 2024.
Frankfurt – The breakthrough came in 1984 with “Love at First Sting”. Stadium anthems like “Rock You Like a Hurricane” made it unmistakably clear to the world of hard rock: no one can ignore the Scorpions from Hanover anymore. Just in time for the 40th anniversary of the record, which is soaked in power chords, the Scorpions are going on tour again in 2024.
The Scorpions now want to present their new show in the German cities that they had to miss on their 2023 tour. The rock band around singer Klaus Meine has announced concerts in Nuremberg, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig and Frankfurt for 2024. On September 20th the Scorpions will play in the Festhalle Frankfurt.

The Scorpions are probably the biggest rock band in the country. They were the first German band to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City three times in a row. Bon Jovi, who later achieved world fame themselves, started their career as the opening act for the hard rockers from Hanover.
From Los Angeles to Moscow to Tokyo, they are still filling stadiums. Which stage the Scorpions will play in Frankfurt and how deep the fans will have to dig into their pockets for the show has not yet been announced. Even without an official statement, one can speculate: it will be big and loud.
Scorpions concert 2024: “Wind of Change” will soon blow again in Frankfurt
When the Scorpions sang their global hit “Wind of Change” in the early 1990s, the dream of a world in which peace reigns from the Main to the Moskva was almost within reach. The last Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev even invited the Scorpions to the Kremlin – the first rock band ever to do so.
These days it often seems as if the “Wind of Change” in the minds of current rulers has been played down like an old tape. Despite this, or perhaps precisely because of this, the Scorpions are still on stage even after almost 60 years of band history; Guitar firmly in hand and a melody on his lips that has lost none of its power.
