Scooters in Marseille: the new era

They are heading towards a new era. Arrivals – not without a crash – on public roads in 2019, self-service electric scooters – called “free floating” – are entering a first major turn this summer. And to avoid any slippage, the City has launched a “call for expressions of interest” to renew the agreement which currently binds it to three operators present in Marseille for three years: Bird, Bla bla ride (and its “Voi” scooters ) and Circ. “Clearly, we are reshuffling the cards”, details the deputy PS to the mayor of Marseille in charge of mobility, Audrey Gatian.
