Scientists Visit Sacred Temples Ahead of India’s First Solar Mission: Aditya L1 Launch

ISRO Chairman S Somnath and scientists visited the temple ahead of India’s first solar mission. ISRO Chairman S Somnath said that Aditya L1 will be launched tomorrow at 11.50 am and it will take 125 days for the probe to reach its destination. The Chairman and scientists arrived at Chengalamma Parameshwari Temple in Sullurpet, Andhra Pradesh. He was talking to the media after visiting the temple. He added that he had come to the temple to pray for the success of the launch.

Aditya L1 will be launched tomorrow at 11.50 am. It will take 125 days for the probe to reach the fixed position. I came to Parameshwari temple today to pray for the success of the launch.’ – S. Somnath said.

Meanwhile, another team of ISRO scientists with the model of the Aditya-L1 mission reached the Tirumala Venkateswara temple and performed special pujas. Even before India’s moon mission, scientists visited the temple.
