As scientists continue their studies in space, the results of mysterious signals have emerged since 2019.
According to the information received from EnSonHaber; Astronomers search for the source of radio signals from deep space
Scientists have identified the source of a repetitive radio signal, one of the most remarkable cosmic events of recent years.
THE SIGNAL IS COMING FROM THE Dwarf GALAXY
First detected in 2019 and called FRB 190520, the radio signal was understood to come from a dwarf galaxy 3 billion light-years away.
It is known that about 5 percent of the hundreds of detected signals are repeated. FRB 190520 is the only signal that has remained active since its discovery.
Astronomers have been able to follow such signals back to where they came from before. But what produces them is still a mystery.
So learning more about these bright radio emissions could help scientists understand what’s producing them.
Trying to find out where FRB 190520 came from, researchers used the Subaru Telescope and the Very Large Telescope in Hawaii.
