Scientists have listed the states in which Americans will be safest during an alien invasion of Earth.
Today, UFOs are actually seen as a defense and national security issue for our planet. Moreover, many people believe in the existence of aliens, since the Universe is so huge that it is difficult to imagine that our civilization is the only one in it.
The researchers concluded that if a UFO actually invaded Earth, the most sparsely populated states would be the safest for Americans. They will have more space for hiding, as well as fewer crowded places that could attract the attention of alien intelligence.
Thus, rural states or states with uninhabited areas have an advantage. Virginia, in particular, would have been a prime location for rescue. This state scored 8.03 out of 10.
The terrain here is good for shelter, as there are 29 caves in this state, and forest occupies 63% of its area. Alabama is in second place with a score of 7.9 out of 10, and Minnesota is in third.
Scientists also included Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Alaska and Georgia among the safe regions. If we talk about the most unsafe, then Nevada is in first place, as it received only 5.31 points out of 10.
By the way, this is where the famous “Area 51” is located and there is a high level of UFO presence. In addition, Nevada is a desert in which it is almost impossible to hide. Also among the unsafe are Idaho, Arizona, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Wyoming, writes the Daily Mail.
