Scientists have learned how to manipulate immunity using nanoparticles

During the study (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/ana.25675, scientists conducted a series of experiments on mice with head injuries. Thus, animals were injected with small biodegradable particles, resulting in immune cells that in a normal situation, they would strive to the brain, which provoked cerebral edema, focused specifically on the particles, while heading to the spleen to counteract them.

Researchers resumed injections every other day or two to reduce inflammation, which progresses a few days after the injury. It was found that the injured rodents participating in the experiment felt better than those who did not receive injections. In addition, literally within ten days after treatment, the bruises in the mice were half as much compared to the mice that were not injected.
