Jakarta –
A group of scientists discover an ancient skull in China. Strangely shaped unlike any human skull ever seen before, belonging to aliens?
Quoted from ScienceAlert, the skull has a more elongated top, and does not seem to resemble any other early human skulls we have found in the past, including Neanderthals.
These new bones are currently labeled as HLD 6 and were discovered in Hualongdong, East Asia, in 2019. Since then, scientists have been working to try to link early human skulls and bones to any of the known ancient human lineages, but it didn’t work either.
Its facial structure is similar to that of modern human lineages, which are believed to have split from Homo erectus by 750,000 years ago. But the similarities end there.
The chinless skull appears more similar to that of the Denisovans, an ancient hominin species extinct in Asia that split from Neanderthals more than 400,000 years ago.

In collaboration with researchers from China’s Xi’an Jiaotong University, England’s University of York, and Spain’s National Research Center for Human Evolution, researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) think they have discovered an entirely new lineage – a cross between modern humans and other ancient hominins in the region, such as the Denisovans.
Of course, that conclusion could change as scientists find more fossils so they can learn more about bone structure. Unfortunately, until now the hominin fossils found in China do not match a certain lineage, so scientists must try harder to be able to say where this ancient human skull is located in the historical lineage of mankind.
