Covid-19, the war in Ukraine, personal problems at work and in the family: all of this has a negative impact on our mental health. It is important to take care not only of physical health, but also of mental health. This can be done in a variety of ways, from establishing a good routine to eating foods that can improve mood.
The “Eat This, Not That” portal reports that there is a very unusual way to quickly improve your mood.
To feel happy, we need to find the things we like. A new study has found that homemade food is not only healthier, but it can also improve your mood.
A study was conducted at Edith Cowan University in Australia which showed that a home cooked meal can improve mood. 657 participants participated in the study. They cooked meals at home every day for seven weeks. It has been shown that people who followed such a strict regimen felt much more satisfied with their life or happier after a short period of time.
Not only the general mood of the participants improved, but also the satisfaction with the improvement of their cooking skills. All study participants admitted that cooking at home significantly improved their eating habits. Meals have become much healthier, thus improving their health and well-being.
