“In one study, male rats infected with Toxoplasma were considered more sexually attractive and favored by uninfected female rats,” explains the study.
Previously, several studies have found that the parasite can infect any mammal or bird.

When infecting humans, a person will be a lifelong carrier of Toxoplasma. Various studies have also shown that it can change human behavior.
It is spread when a person is exposed to the feces of an infected cat and from contaminated food or through intimate contact with an infected person.
A recent study found that infected men and women looked more attractive and healthier than those who were not infected.
