The magic of television came to the Scientific Seedbeds of the Fray Martín de Porres School Educational Unit in the state of Falcón, with the Scientific Route “Seedbeds Communicate on Educational TV.”
The activity was carried out by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) of the Falcón state, an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (Mincyt), together with the Television Station of the Francisco de Miranda National Experimental University ( Tvunefm), to inspire the next generation of scientists and communicators.
In this sense, the executive director of Fundacite Falcón, engineer Liliana Infante, reported that the activity “allowed young people, between 12 and 14 years old, to explore the ins and outs of the transmission of scientific information through a guided tour of Tvunefm facilities.”
Likewise, he highlighted that the students discovered the daily information grid and learned about the key elements for a successful pre-production. In addition, they delved into the scripting process and the essential techniques for news production.
The student community had the opportunity to participate in video editing in the post-production room and to contribute to a special report, where they shared their impressions about this enriching educational experience.
The National Scientific Seedling Program, promoted by the Bolivarian Government, through Mincyt and its affiliated entities, also seeks to strengthen communication skills in the youth of the Homeland.
