Job Description

This position requires fluency in German.

It is a parental leave replacement the next possible Date expected until April 2022.

Area: Business Unit CED (Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases / Marketing)

Tasks:

Competitive analysis:

  • Participation in selected international and national congresses
  • As a “Competitive Intelligence” (CI) officer, obtaining publicly available competitor information through internal and external channels
  • Creation of a regular newsletter
  • Organization and management of internal CI workshops
  • Management and updating of a competitor dashboard with regular updates on main competitors with regard to relevant information

Development of strategic positioning and importance for Entyvio with the team (BT)

Training:

  • Training of key account managers on new marketing materials and competitors
  • Organization and implementation of training classes and onboardings

Scientific content:

  • Identify publications and data that either support product strategy or are of potential interest to target audiences (gastroenterologists); Input through regular literature analysis and participation in the Journal Club
  • Independent preparation of medical-scientific content for different marketing projects, materials and channels
  • Bringing relevant scientific information to the marketing team to support strategic and tactical planning
  • Preparation of scientific congress reports (Premium Selection)

Public Relations (work with the PR agency below):

  • Press conferences
  • Press releases
  • Special publications

Project work:

  • Coordination of the ongoing GastroTrials project with semi-annual steering board meetings and coordination of the research and approval processes
  • Scientific expert meetings on marketing-relevant topics at selected congresses

Profile:

  • Completed degree in human medicine, veterinary medicine or natural sciences (chemistry, biology, pharmacy)
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience as a medical advisor in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the therapeutic area of ​​IBD or immunology and / or as a medical writer
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical field or as a Medical Science Liaison Manager (MSL) is an advantage
  • Work experience in the area of ​​a university clinic or other university institution is desirable
  • Enthusiasm for the understandable preparation and presentation of medical-scientific content and data
  • Dynamic and communicative personality
  • Very good expression and presentation skills
  • Business fluent German and English skills, spoken and written
