New injection promises to eliminate the “cane” instantly
What everyone has ever asked for is already being created: a sInstant olution to eliminate the hangover or better known cane.
This is what a team of researchers from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, who tested the efficacy of an injection in a group of drunken rodents, promises. Spoiler alert, a single administration of the preparation is capable of eliminating the associated symptoms of drunkenness.

Ancient zombie virus frozen in permafrost revived
Las Warmer temperatures in the Arctic are thawing the region’s permafrost, a frozen layer of soil beneath the earth, and potentially causing viruses that, after lying dormant for tens of thousands of years, could endanger animal and human health. And that’s what a team of scientists have discovered and reactivated to understand the risks they pose.
Climate scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Kimberley Minersaid that “there is a lot going on with the permafrost that is cause for concern, and it really shows why it is very important that we keep as much of the permafrost frozen as possible.”

Hearing loss affects 30% of the Chilean population
Hearing loss can also be affected by acoustic trauma, which could be acute or chronic, so the National Disability Service considered hearing loss as the third cause of disability, being present in 31.4% of adults in the country.
Hearing loss and produces a decrease in hearing sensitivity. There are different types of this condition, depending on which sector of the auditory pathway is affected: conductive hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss, and mixed hearing loss.

An incredible advance in the fight against cancer has been made by scientists at Stanford University. They discovered that when they convert cancer cells into immune cells, can teach other immune cells how to attack cancer.
Taking this discovery as a starting point and the team at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Institute in Seattle has created a vaccine that was able to eliminate leukemia in rodents.

Mental health and COVID-19
A mega study found that no great changes were observed in the general mental health of the population, but when analyzing in detail they identified that women were the ones who experienced a worsening of symptoms such as anxiety, depression or general mental health.
“This is worrying and suggests that some women, as well as some people in other groups, have experienced changes for the worse in their mental health and will need ongoing access to mental health support,” said Danielle Rice, an assistant professor at McMaster University and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton.
