Data theft: phishing emails about Corona aid funds are circulating

Recipients should not even open or delete such emails.
The criminal senders of the messages are only interested in accessing sensitive data, explains the EU Commission. Applications for corona aid from the federal government could only be via the page www.ueberbrueckungshilfe-unternehmen.de be asked.
Similar waves of phishing spam have been around since summer 2020. According to the information, email addresses of the T-Online mail service are currently being written to. And the sender addresses also came from this service.
The EU Commission recommends reporting to the local police station to anyone who has already sent their data to the email address given by the fraudsters. The investigations by the Berlin police are currently being carried out under the case number 210521-0900-371074.
