In the future, the number of published researches Scopus indexed scientific journal It is hoped that this will continue to increase in line with the internationalization agenda of UIN Jakarta.
As reported by the official website of UIN Jakarta, Infographic data from the UIN Jakarta Research Center noted, UIN Jakarta managed to record the number of scientific articles published and indexed by Scopus to reach 860 articles. This amount was contributed by 620 authors from various faculties of UIN Jakarta.

The infographic states that the 860 articles are divided into 25 clusters of scientific fields such as Computer Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Then, biochemistry, chemistry, nursing and others.
From the total of 25 clusters of the field of science, the number of scientific articles in the field of computer sciences reached 293 articles or higher than the total articles in the social sciences cluster of 249 articles. That way, the percentage of computer sciences contributed 18.8 percent of research published in Scopus, higher than 17.9 percent of social sciences.
Next, decision sciences contributed 133 articles or 15.9 percent to the total published articles. Then, Engineering 131 articles or 8.5 percent. Furthermore, the infographic data sequentially states the contribution of each cluster. Among them, namely Arts and Humanities 126 articles, physics and astronomy 99 articles, business management & accounting 97 articles, and medicine 66 articles.

Selanjutnya, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology 47 artikel, environmental science 42 artikel, agricultural and biological sciences 40 artikel, economics, econometrics and finance 39 artikel, materials science 34 artikel, mathematics 33 artikel, earth and planetary sciences 24 artikel, dan pharmacology, toxicology and pharmaceutics 22 artikel.
Next, chemistry 21 articles, nursing 15 articles, energy 14 articles, and psychology 12 articles. Furthermore, 21 articles were contributed by several other scientific clusters, namely immunology and microbiology, multidisciplinary, chemical engineering, neuroscience, and veterinary.
In the UIN Jakarta Leadership Meeting on Wednesday (10/3) previously, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Hj Amany Lubis revealed that the quantity of scientific articles published in recognized journals is his concern. This is in line with the direction of the internationalization of UIN Jakarta as a center for Islamic and scientific studies.
“We hope that the total distribution of 860 articles will be more evenly distributed from the total 1,103 lecturers we have,” he said.
According to the Chancellor, scientific publication is one of the six main work programs of UIN Jakarta in 202. Five other programs, campus internationalization, optimization of assets and business development, optimization of the role of students and alumni, transformation of information systems, and human resource development.
