Science Fiction Writing Skills Development Training for Science Enthusiasts

National Science Museum (NSM) or NSM in collaboration with Mahidol University Writers Association of Thailand The Science Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage and GDH 559 Company Limited organized a “Science Fiction Writing Skills Development Training” as part of the activities of “Science Fiction Contest Project 2024” to provide opportunities for youth and those interested in science who have a passion for writing. Gain experience in practicing science fiction writing skills from experts in various fields to use as ideas for writing science fiction in the future at the IT Auditorium room, NSTDA Information Technology Museum, Khlong Ha Subdistrict, District. Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani Province

Mr. Suwarong Wongsiri, Deputy Director of the National Science Museum (NSM) or NSM, said: “The 2024 Science Fiction Contest Project has been held continuously for the 9th time, with training to develop skills in Write Science Fiction was created to provide an opportunity for people who are interested in science and love writing to gain experience and practice science fiction writing skills. and are ready to bring scientific stories to convey as science fiction writing to society As for the past operations of the project, it has received a good response from people who love writing and those who love science. For this training to develop science fiction writing skills, we were honored by speakers with expertise in various fields, such as Dr. Chanin Suriyakul Na Ayutthaya with a special lecture on “Sci-fi in Action”, Mr. Chairat Pipitpatthanaprapat. Owner of the pen name “Prabt” with a lecture on “Let’s start to the novel”, Mr. Kittisak Kongka, a writer from the Writers’ Association of Thailand with a lecture on “PLOT expansion techniques” and Mr. Pongwut Rujirachakorn and Mr. Anusorn Ti. Payanon, a writer from the Writers’ Association of Thailand, in a special talk on the topic “Writer Experience” by training held between 25 – 26 November 2023 at the IT Auditorium room, NSTDA Information Technology Museum, Khlong Ha Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province.
