From October 4 to 14, 2024, immerse yourself in a “Ocean of knowledge” during the Science Festival in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes!
The Science Festival in Drôme is more than a fortnight of exhibitions on “Jurassic oceans in Drôme” accompanied by school and general public mediation (from September 17 to October 4) followed by 10 days of festivities (from October 4 to 14). Around forty labeled events in around thirty municipalities with exhibitions, activities, conferences, open days, shows, nature outings, workshops, etc.
The event relies on project leaders spread across the department (communities, schools, associations, businesses, cultural sites, etc.), investing and organizing numerous operations aimed at all audiences, guaranteeing: accessibility, proximity and free of charge in order to reduce inequalities in access to knowledge.
This year, Valence Romans Agglo will lead the organization of the University Science Village in partnership with the UGA, the City of Valence and the François Mitterrand media library on October 5, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Latour-Maubourg in Valence. A flagship event that has been anchored in the Valentinois landscape for almost 8 years. It welcomes between 2,000 and 4,000 visitors over a day where more than 30 stands with workshops, activities, screenings and conferences will be present.
