Sciecq Stubble Fire: Firefighters Bring Under Control the High-Temperature Phenomenon

It is a recurring phenomenon this season and with the high temperatures, a stubble fire broke out in Sciecq in the Deux-Sèvres. The fire is brought under control by firefighters.

A stubble fire broke out in the early afternoon along the road to Saint-Rémy, in Sciecq in Deux-Sèvres. A cut wheat fire unfortunately classic in this season and with the heat of the last few days.

Thirteen firefighters and several vehicles intervened to contain the fire to two hectares, while a dozen were threatened.

The fire is considered extinguished with no risk of spreading.
