The Schwyz FDP government councilor Kaspar Michel, who announced his resignation at the end of the year on Wednesday, is switching to the insurance industry.
Michel, who has been the finance director of the canton of Schwyz for twelve years, succeeds Roland Egli, who headed the agency for 23 years and is reorienting himself professionally, as the insurance company announced on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
The 51-year-old Michel, who worked as a state archivist before his time in the Schwyz canton government, is returning professionally to Lachen, where he was born and grew up. In 2023 he will take over the management of the general agency of Mobiliar.
