In recent weeks, the name of Michael Schumacher has appeared in the media in connection with the leveling of his seven world titles by Lewis Hamilton and the efforts of his 21-year-old son Mick Schumacher to advance in Formula 1.
How and whether Michael Schumacher is able to perceive the career of his offspring, the former head of the Ferrari stable, Jean Todt, explained to the media. “Yes, of course Michael is closely monitoring his son’s actions,” the 74-year-old official told RTL France.

According to his other statements, Schumacher is able to perceive, unfortunately he seems to be confined to a bed. The winner of 91 Grand Prix is treated in his villa in Mallorca. However, Todt did not want to talk more about his friend’s more specific state of health. “It’s a question I’d rather not answer. I see Michael once or twice a month, and my answer is still the same – he’s fighting!”

Not very positive reading between the lines will not improve the fans’ other words. “Michael is very well taken care of, he has everything he needs. We can only wish him good luck and a lot of strength for his family.”
However, the name Schumacher should reappear among the elite next year. “Mick will most likely make it to Formula One next year and we will be thrilled that the new Schumacher will once again race at the highest possible level,” concludes Jean Todt.
