Düsseldorf While most Europeans are sleeping, the North American professional leagues are busy. What happened during the night in American football, basketball and ice hockey. Today among other things: An important away win for a German national player.
Basketball: Boston wins with Schröder in Miami
National basketball player Dennis Schröder has achieved an important away win in the NBA with the Boston Celtics. Boston prevailed in the Miami Heats on Thursday (local time) with 95:78. The 28-year-old player came off the bench and scored 14 points in a good 30 minutes of play.

It was the second win in a row for the record champions after the last three defeats. The discussion within the team seems to have helped. Boston continues with the duel with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost 104: 107 to the Oklahoma City Thunder without superstar LeBron James, who was dropped out because of an abdominal muscle injury.

Ice hockey: Grubauer wins with Kraken – bankruptcies for Stützle and Seider
The German national ice hockey goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer has overcome the mini-low with the Seattle Kraken in the North American professional league NHL. After the last two defeats, the “Expansion Team” won against the Buffalo Sabers 5-2 and took their fourth win of the season. Grubauer, who moved to Seattle from title contender Colorado Avalanche before the season, showed 19 saves.

Things didn’t go as well for the German youngsters Tim Stützle and Moritz Seider. Striker Stützle, who remained without a scorer point despite four shots on goal, lost 1: 5 to the Vegas Golden Knights with his Ottawa Senators and conceded the sixth bankruptcy of the season. Defender Seider, who was most recently named “October Rookie of the Month”, also lost 5-1 with the Detroit Red Wings at the Boston Bruins. After all, Seider is preparing the consolation goal, his ninth template in the eleventh game.
